INOFID product range mainly consist of breakfast cereals and snacks enriched with whole plant fibre and protein and prebiotic supplements. Consumers’ health is at the heart of our design. Therefore, the uniqueness of our products reside in their naturalty, multifunctional characteristics and the use of traditional crops.

Organisation Structure

The spin-off company is jointly owned jointly by the EDTEA grant holder, Prof Eric Amonsou, who is the Director of the INOFID and DUT.

The food product development team consist of scientists in Food Science and Technology with experience in product development and analysis on food constituent.

The Director
Eric Amonsou is a Food Scientist and Full Professor at the Durban University of Technology, South Africa. Prof Amonsou Holds a PhD in Food Science from the University of Pretoria.
